3D Printed Silver Pendant

I just received this pendant designed with Rapid Resizer’s new 3D design feature. It’s based on the Wild Harp logo for a series of classical concerts I’ve organized in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada.

After uploading the original SVG file at the New Project page, I used the Designer to close a gap in one corner so it will work as a pendant.

Once the 2D design was complete, I chose Customize > 3D Extrude. The sphere setting gave the pendant a pleasant rounded shape instead of the default square extrusion.

From the extruder, I downloaded the STL file of the 3D design and uploaded it to Shapeways. The photo at the top shows it in polished silver but they have a range of metals and other materials.

If you try this out, I’d love to see the result. Also let me know if you have any feature requests.
