Custom Baking Stencils using Free Patterns
The holiday season is fast approaching and we have the perfect way to add a special touch to any of your holiday baking. Using Rapid Resizer's free designs or its picture stencil maker you can easily take your baking to the next level and add a festive touch. Perfect for those last minute hostess gifts!
What you'll need:
- 1 box of brownie mix
- 1/4 cup of icing sugar
- strainer
- Xacto knife and paper cutting board
1. Print a stencil from Rapid Resizer's free designs, its picture stencil maker, or use a design you already have. Below's a video showing how to find a design.
2. Once you have printed your stencil, carefully cut out the design using an Xacto knife.
3. After baking your treats, wait until the contents of the pan have cooled and pour half a cup of icing sugar into a strainer. Gently tap the icing sugar over your baking with the paper cut out in your desired position.
Tip: mix a little of the icing sugar with water and brush over the piece of paper on one side. The stencil will stick to the uneven surface of the brownies so the design will not become distorted.
4. Remove the paper stencil and enjoy!
