Scary Life-Size Halloween Silhouette

Scare your neighbours with this easy halloween decoration DIY. Rapid Resizer lets you choose the size of your designs, so its easy to print and create life-size craft patterns. I created my design and cut it out on black poster board paper.

What you'll need:

• black poster board
• scissors
• packing tape
• sticky tack (optional)

Start by creating your silhouette. I uploaded a photo of a man in a grim reaper costume. I then opened the file in the Picture Stencil Maker. I turned my photo into a black and white image. I then used the ink saving tool to turn my design into an outline and tinted the outline red. This helps save printer ink when printing large projects. 

After printing my stencil, I cut it out and taped it together using packing tape. I secured my stencil to my black poster board and traced around it using chalk. I then cut out chalk stencil on the black paper. 

When you are finished this step, its time to tape your stencil to a window or door. When your stencil is taped against a window it looks like there is a person in your house! 

This craft proved to be very scary. Every time I walked past the paper cutout it startled me. My family was also very spooked when I left this pattern hanging in the front door with no mention of making it!
