Byzantine Inspired Mosaics

Here are a great pair of mosaics sent to us by Brenda.

"One or two examples of mosaics made using Rapid Resizer for design. Both use 6th century Byzantine techniques. The drinking dove is a replica of a 5th century mosaic in Ravenna in glass smalti and the fish is a detail replica of a larger mosaic called the unswept floor from Aquililea in Italy and is entirely in marble. 

I find Rapid Resizer invaluable for creating replica mosaics in particular but also useful for resizing ideas I've photographed."
