Stencilling on Odd Shapes

IMG_3528.JPG

This week I have made a tutorial on how to stencil on odd shapes. I have used Rapid Resizer to take a pattern and manipulate it to wrap around a flower pot. This craft is a fun way to add a pop of color to your home and give your plants a funky new home. :)

I started by uploading my design. To turn it into a line drawing I clicked on the Save Ink button. This removes color and makes it much easier to trace. If you would like to use this pattern, you can download it for free here

I used Rapid Resizer's Arc Tool to bend my pattern to fit around my flower pot.

I printed my pattern and wrapped it around the flower pot. For this craft, I used a carbon paper image transfer method. I placed a piece of carbon paper face down under my pattern and traced over my design.

Time to add color! Once my design was transferred on to my pot, I painted my design using tempra paint.
