Stick to It: A Beginner's Guide to Packing Tape Stickers

If you’re looking for a simple weekend project, look no further! This is a great project to do with the whole family, it’s quick and easy.

The supplies needed for this project include:

• A printed design, if you need inspiration, check out our Design Library

• A bowl of water

• Packing tape

• Scissors

Start by choosing a design, either your own amazing creation or one from our Design Library and printing it out. This technique works fine with regular printer ink (no need to use expensive ink or paper).

Next take large pieces of packing tape and carefully cover the entire design. You can cut around the shape with a layer of packing tape on the design.

Take the cut out design and place it in the bowl of water for around 30 seconds. This will loosen the paper from the tape and allow you to peel away the printer paper. The pattern will have transferred onto the packing tape. Carefully peel away the printer paper. As soon as the water has dried, you have a homemade sticker!
